About us
Hi, my name is Lukas and I am the founder of paint by numbers company Simple-Painting.com. Before, I was working as a data analyst in my home country. The job was well respected and well paid, my family was proud and happy for me, sadly, I was not, can you relate? Furthermore, I saw the same emptiness in the eyes of my freshly graduated students as well….
This really bothered me, because it did not make any sense. We are living in a world where opportunity is more abundant than ever. We are free to do whatever we want, travel, enjoy life, and feel happy. So, I turned on my Sherlock Holmes brains and started investigating. I started watching people in their day to day life, my colleagues, friends, and random people I see every day.
After some time, I noticed a very interesting and disturbing pattern. It goes something like this:
- Person’s attention is focused on whatever they are doing (job, study, etc.)
- They get a free minute for themselves
- Their get sucked into their phones. Giving away their free time to social media.
The answer for our unhappiness might not be obvious at the first glance, but when you think about it, it’s really simple:
We are not spending enough time with ourselves!
I decided to test my theory and I started reading books, meditating, and doing one of my favorite hobbies to this day: paint by number kits.
Shockingly, it worked! I felt centered calm and most importantly: happy. I decided to spread this hobby and Simple-Painting was born.

We are a small business which started selling paint by numbers kits at the start of 2020. We actively promote a technology free, quality free time.
Our mission: Help people feel happiness & fulfillment in their lives.
